After entering my debit card information and selecting purchase. I received a text from BOA on my cell phone. Alerting me that my debit has been used to purchase {$320.00}. Was it me. I contact BOA, customer service on XX/XX/year>, around XXXXXXXX XXXX, and spoke to XXXX in AR.

I asked XXXX to help me understand why I received a response in my BOA app saying my purchase for {$320.00} was approved and later declined. I made the purchase from my home computer, on a secure website where I had to be verified, and from my IP address from my internet provider. XXXX explained that the initial transaction was approved and then my account was blocked due to the XXXX activity. Billing error 15 USC 1666b 16 XXXX XXXX and accounting on remittance on interest coupon dividends on my securities certificate of indebtedness Open-End Credit Account : XXXX XXXX public law 73-10 Full faith and credit I maintain an open-end credit account with Bank of America, account number Finance Charges and Credit Indebtedness : It has come to my attention that BOA has not credited my account with dividends derived from treasury coupons via the ETF Act . These funds, which should have been applied to my account to offset finance charges and reduce overall credit indebtedness, have not been properly credited. 1099 Forms : Additionally, Bank of America has failed to provide me with all copies of Form 1099 for both past and present transactions. These forms are essential for tax reporting purposes and must be furnished promptly as they are considered income. Timely Payment and ETF Act Compliance : Under the Electronic Funds Transfer ( ETF ) Act and the Truth in Lending Act, payments made via treasury coupons should be applied promptly and accurately to my account. The finance charges applied to my account appear to be in violation of these regulations, as they are not required under an open-end credit customer credit plan. Certificates of Indebtedness : There has been no transparent communication or presentation of documents regarding the handling of my certificates of indebtedness securities. This lack of disclosure and clarity raises serious concerns about the management and reporting of my financial activities.

I was travelling from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX DC via XXXX where I had a layover of some XXXX hours on XX/XX/XXXX. 2024. My flight from XXXX took off early in the morning of XX/XX/year>. When arrived in DC i got transection alerts from Bank of America which had happened while I was on flight. In total three transections ( {$450.00}, {$71.00} and {$37.00} ) had taken place fraudulently and the fourth one was an order placed through online store. I immediately contacted the bank and informed them about the illegal use of my card and reported it lost. The representative of the Fraud Investigation department of bank closed my card and assured me that they remove the charges in a few days. They also said that they will do an investigation of the fraud.
The charges were duly removed from credit card only to appear again three days ago. The bank also sent a letter through the banking app saying that my claims are invalid and that I must pay the amount.
I am shocked that the bank has seemingly concluded that I have falsely claimed the amounts. The bank is seeking an easy way out here and thinks it should make me pay for this. If these transections are not fraud than why did the bank cancel the fourth transection that happened along with the three illegal ones? It knows that fraud was committed using my stolen credit card. If I wanted to put a claim falsely, why did I not put it on other transections and only those that happened while I was on flight to XXXX DC?
I am a preferred customer with the same bank and I being victimized. I would sincerely request your intervention to protect my interest in this case.
faithfully yours, XXXX XXXX

On XX/XX/year>, I feel victim to a business email phishing/spoofing scam where I sent a vendor payment in the amount of {$33000.00} to a fraudulent Bank of America account XXXX I have emailed XXXX twice and have received no response. The fraud presented when someone intercepted the vendor 's email address, changing XXXX letter in the address to appear valid. They sent me the real copy of the invoice to pay, but with fraudulent XXXX instructions. On XX/XX/XXXX I checked my mobile banking app and saw a fraudulent ACH payment to a credit card I do not own, in the amount of {$4200.00}. I was not sent any text alerts or email alerts like I have been in the past. I immediately called the fraud department regarding this unapproved transaction. After over an hour and multiple transfers, an agent said she could not initiate a claim or stop payment as the ACH was processing and that Id have to call back the next day once the charge posted. I called in today, XX/XX/XXXX, and after 2 hours, multiple transfers, and denials to requests to speak with a supervisor, I have no resolution or case number. Ive been told it will take up to 10 business days to review and investigate, which is unacceptable since I have no access to my money during this time.

Bank of America is failing to uphold safeguards and is allowing fraud to run rampant. They fail to take accountability and provide basic consumer protections to prevent large amounts of money from being illegally accessed and stolen, and thus, are complicit in the fraud. When this unique, first time transaction was noticed on my account ledger, it was not paused, stopped, or canceled in spite of immediate requests by me. I was not provided any alerts or timely resolution.

Bank of America response stated on XX/XX/year> on complaint XXXX, they did not use my son 's business account ending in XXXX in making the decision to deny a increase my credit but all the information furnished prior to this response would indicate that is incorrect, even stating that I was a owner of that account.

Since my credit is impeccable, the only negative issue found by them was that I was a " authorized signer on another account '' not owned by me.

They state that as part of their credit review they also take into consideration signers of accounts that you are not a owner on, which is in contrast to federal laws which states signers on accounts not owned by them are not liable for that account. " Bank of America considers not only variables such as your payment history, but available credit, balances on other accounts, and overall risk when making credit decisions. This includes accounts where consumers are listed as an authorized signer. '' Bank of America should furnish this policy is part of their credit review to determine credit worthiness increases on their credit card.
