I have a Huntington Bank Checking account which I enjoy, but there's an issue with their online checking ledger. One reason I like this account is because of its Standby Cash feature, which allows me to access funds between paychecks. However, I recently used Standby Cash and promptly repaid it on payday, Friday, XX/XX/XXXX. Today, Saturday, XX/XX/year>, I spoke to a customer service agent who informed me that I wouldn't be eligible to use it again for three months due to overdrafts.

There was a purchase made for {$6.00} parking at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, and the other was a {$3.00} XXXX transaction on XX/XX/XXXX. ( Note : You can not use XXXX if there your account is at {$0.00} ) This caused my account to be overdrawn by {$8.00} from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, a {$16.00} refund was credited to my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a {$40.00} XXXX payment, and on XX/XX/XXXX, two direct deposits totaling {$1200.00} were credited to my account.

I could understand that if I had overdraft my account in two consecutive billing statements but to ban me from the Standby Cash feature because of two incorrect bank ledgers is an outrageous and unfair banking policy.

Hello, I opened my Huntington XXXX XXXX Checking account in branch on XX/XX/XXXX. At that time, Huntington bank has a promotion to open a checking account.

Promotion conditions are followings : To qualify for the {$600.00} cash bonus, you are required to open a new, qualifying Huntington XXXX XXXX Checking account by XX/XX/XXXX and make cumulative new money deposits into your new Platinum Perks Checking account of at least {$25000.00} or more within 90 days of account opening and keep your account open for 90 days.

If you opened a Huntington XXXX XXXX Checking account, your {$600.00} bonus will be deposited into your new checking account within 14 days of meeting the above requirements. Your checking account must remain in open status to receive the bonus.

I have met all promotion conditions, but Huntington didnt pay me {$600.00} bonus. Please help me to investigate what happened and deposit {$600.00} bonus into my account.

Huntington bank issued a lifetime ban on my information due to accounts being opened in my information that were fraudulent. I supplied proof of the accounts being fraudulent and even got third party companies such as XXXX XXXX XXXX to investigate and confirm them as fraudulent and not of my responsibility.

XXXX still closes any account I attempt to open. Please help.

I had a CD mature and the disbursement proceeds of {$100000.00} were deposited in my Huntington Bank non-interest bearing checking account XXXX XXXX I wanted to transfer all of the {$100000.00} to my high interest bank account at XXXX XXXX which was a verified external bank account associated with my Huntington checking account ( I have transferred money between these same XXXX accounts in the past without any problem ). I was informed on the phone by Huntington Bank that I could transfer {$50000.00} per transaction for a total of {$100000.00} per day. So I set up XXXX online banking transfers of {$50000.00} transfers ( totaling {$100000.00} ) XXXX XXXXXXXX transferring the money from my Huntington XXXX account to XXXXXXXX XXXX and scheduled another transfer of {$5700.00} form Huntington to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/year> I received an emails from Huntington Bank stating that my XXXX Banking account was " suspended for use with your Huntington accounts '' and the transfers had been " stopped ''. Upon calling Huntington I was told to personally bring a current XXXX bank statement to a Huntington branch which i did XXXX XXXXXX/XX/year>. So now Huntington says I must wait an additional XXXX to XXXX business days for Huntington to unsuspend my XXXX account. THIS HUNTINGTON TRANSFER SITUATION IS ILLUSORY. I will lose interest on my money while waiting and Huntington gets use of my money for free.

On XX/XX/2024 Huntington Bank ( XXXX ) locked my online access due to suspected fraud and is refusing to validate my identity, and unlock this access, without me physically going to a branch. I will not be closer than XXXX miles to a branch in the next XXXX days. We have signed up to opt out of over draft protection .As it was described to us its a service that doesnt allow your checking account to be over drafted past 0.So if the money isnt in the account it doesn't get pulled.FOR Years now, We have to deal the bank not following this .Like they are forcing us to use a form of over draft.The bills we pay dont post or get pulled FOR WEEKS sometimes and the companies we talk to about this Blame it on Huntington. 3 days ago my progressive app said I was paid up Until XXXX So 2 days ago progressive posted a XXXX $ pull summation to our account.which took our balance past {$0.00} to - $ XXXX.I called Huntington and they said dont worry the money isnt available and u have payed out of over draft so your account cant get over drafted so progressive wont be able to pull from your account .I called progressive and progressive said dont worry it was an accident so it getting sent back as non funds is no problem .Today they paid it and when I called to ask I get a completely different story about whats going on like usual with this bank.Im filling with u before I get a lawyer involved and XXXX XXXX .Than Im going to go to social Media and tell everyone I know to pull your money and move banks.

I wasn't exactly sure the problem to select, because my situation isn't really covered under any selection. My car loan was financed through Huntington Bank. I unfortunately also bank with them. I was rear ended, and my car was totaled. I stopped making the payment because I am self employed and use my car for income. They told me that I had to catch my payments up before they could stop payment or anything. They weren't willing to catch my payment up with the totaled out payment from the insurance either.
After the payment from the insurance company my balance was lowered to {$2100.00}. This is including interest and late fees still accumulating on the actual balance. They didn't take me to court or send any certified mailing informing me of their plans of garnishing the entire balance out of any of my accounts that I have with them. I have XXXX accounts with them. XXXX of those accounts are with my children. XXXX of my children has a cognitive XXXX. The othe one was a savings account that was opened when he was a minor that he uses as his main account. Right now he is on XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX after an injury at work. On XX/XX/year> the took the entire balance of {$2100.00} out of my son 's account!
I called them explaining to them that was my son 's account and only his money goes in there. You can see that none of the deposits made to that account are from me! You aren't legally allowed to garnish money without taking me to court. You would've had to take me to court if I didn't bank with you! You still needed my permission to even take a payment, so how could you legally take the entire balance after you wrote it off? The didn't care that they put my son at risk to lose his apartment and his car for something that wasn't even his! I said you can look in the computer and see that none of the deposits in that account is mine! They said once the check clears there's no name on it! There's no way that they should be able to put loopholes in their contracts to legally be corrupt! If they can't just take a payment without your permission, then they shouldn't be able to just take the whole balance just because I bank with them!

If youre closing the account, XXXX return the XXXX plus XXXX the {$44.00} + XXXX XXXX etc from the savings also I have proof of submitting the documents you requested but said you didnt and took my money out the account pls write my check I need the money the overdraft was a lie you created that to have a problem of something to close the account about I expect my full money back else we will take this to the state next and you might end up paying more in damages I know the law too

I agreed an he said ok he'll keep the account open an recently I was approved for {$500.00} to cover past balances an the bank altered my account first online with enrollment fraud then blocked access during loan verify then closed it an called twice blaming me. My identity was leaked onto the internet by XXXX XXXX XXXX including checking account routing number and checking account number. Fraud occurred over a course of 6 months where my account was steadily drawn down until I was several XXXX dollars overdrawn and bank made no mention of identity theft or fraud and took no responsibility. I spoke with XXXX XXXX at the XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In regards to this around XX/XX/year> and he said that the bank is only responsible for 60 days of fraud other than that I can take it up with MasterCard but they were not going to refund anymore of the fraud or the overdraft fees that resulted from the fraud. They contact Huntington bank and put a false claim on my account stating that it was fraud and wasnt any fraud done. The vehicle I received went out on me within three days of having the vehicle I decided to give the dealership back the vehicle and they refunded the check back to me.
