I have been trying to get a copy of a 1098 since [-] and have been routed from pillar to post, every time I reach a human they transfer [-] or refer [-] to a website. This is extremely frustrating that something this simple is so hard.
Cenlar seems to have absolutely no Customer Service department. I have tried to contact them by phone 8 or 10 times, always pressing 1 to get [-] automatic call back, but I NEVER get one. I have FAXed them proof that I have [-] required Wind Insurance coverage under [-] Homeowners Policy, but not only have I not received any acknowledgement of [-] communication but [-] escrow account has been charged for their independently purchase coverage. I think [-] next step [-] be to contact a lawyer.
This is [-] WORST bank I have ever had to deal with. They service [-] mortgage which has been a mess since they took over. After 2.5 years of making extra principal payments they refuse to take them telling [-] it is not enough money, No one answers their phone, no one returns their secured or [-] customer service emails. YOU ARE IGNORED once they have what they want. One year they took out insurance [-] insurance charge from [-] account with no authorization. I have [-] own homeowners insurance and have it since I bought [-] home in 1996. It took months to resolve. Take your money and [-] anywhere [-]! I would give 0 [-] if possible.
Can't complain of [-] service when there isn't any. I've been trying for 2 weeks to get a mortgage statement....to no avail. But....if I'm ever late...they have no problem calling then! I have called [-] number on [-] website...just to be placed on eternal hold. This is just nuts.
This is [-] most difficult company I have ever dealt with. One employee after another has failed to correct [-] error made on part of [-] company. . .no [-] ethics whatsoever.

Cenlar stole [-] Nov 2020 mortgage payment
I made a principal payment and no one has contacted [-] in regards to [-] [-] modification. Cenlar does not reply to their secure site emails, or
voicemail when I've been switched to a manager Phone customer service is unknowledgeable and unprofessional. [-] last representative I spoke with put [-] on hold to "research" [-] concern. [-] call was disconnected and she did not call back, despite [-] fact that she had taken both [-] contact numbers. This company is a [-].
I have been trying for over 30days to have a copy of [-] mortgage note sent to [-] and CENLAR support has been delaying for some reason.
I have submitted multiple requests via US [-], on [-] at their [-] site, over [-] phone and [-] primary mortgage company has also requested a copy to no avail.
I've even had a customer service Rep ( [-]) hang up on [-] after I requested to speak to a manager. [-] told [-] that [-] knew [-] company policy better than a manager.
This company has been delaying [-] at every request I send by making statements like, "it's in [-] [-]" or "I'll have it sent via email" or "we'll need to resend it". It's just one excuse after another. All I want to [-] is payoff [-] account, to [-] this I need a copy of [-] original mortgage note which CENLAR currently holds.
To be clear, I've only had [-] one really bad experience with customer service representatives, [-] other customer service reps have been professional. Have not received a call back from a manager on this since Thursday 12/3 like I was told would happen.
Very poor service, would not recommend CENLAR to anyone.
This is a fake (only on [-]) company and does not have anyone reachable. They automatically put [-] mortgage on forced insurance and are unwilling to share [-] declarations [-] inspite of 20 attempts from [-] end talking to them
Worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. Nobody answers [-] phone when you call for assistance or with a question. They misplace documents with your sensitive information whether you fax or [-] them. I sent [-] same document to them [-] times and they cannot acknowledge receipt. I would recommend that you avoid dealing with this [-]. i am in disbelief that they are still in [-]. Giving them a 1 [-] rating is actually generous. a "0" rating wasn't one of [-] options or that's what I would give them.
It doesn't give you a [-] option for 0 [-]. I actually had to [-] 1 [-] rating, but i give you a 0 [-]! Very poor customer service! Not [-] with Cenlar at all! I returned [-] call and left a [-] for him about 2 months ago. I have called several times and left messages for him and his assistant, Sherine. No response what so ever back from them. I'm wanting to write to [-] President of Cenlar. I wanting to report [-] problem with you all to State of N.J. Consumer Affairs. I have already reported you all to [-] State of N.J. BBB. I've always been a good customer making [-] mortgage payments every month and in February of this year I made [-] [-] house payment. I am ahead and i [-]'t made a payment since then because I want you all to correct [-] escrow shortage payment and [-] [-] house payment. Also, I'm too scared to even send another payment because I [-]'t want you all to mess up [-] payment on [-] account. I [-]'t recommend Cenlar to anyone! It's pretty sad that I can't get in touch with [-] case owner or his assistant! Please [-]'t send [-] [-] email that contains [-] attachment to [-] up. You have [-] mailing address and [-] phone #! [-]'t know what [-] to [-], but leave bad ratings and reviews.
Horrible customer service Horrible Escrow Account [-] [-] who takes Escalated calls [-] up on [-] and was not able to explain [-] disclosure statement. Horrible [-] hold times. Been on hold for 1 hour 15 minutes still no representative.
If [-] number 10 is [-] highest rating one can give and if [-] number 1 is [-] lowest rating one can give, I would rate Cenlar FSB as a minus 100. This has to be one of [-] worst organizations I have had [-] misfortune to [-] [-] with. And! I didn't even choose them! Citibank handed over [-] administration to this miserable outfit. I received a letter advising [-] of this assignment in [-] of 2019. [-] previous arrangement with Citibank included [-] automatic draw by Ciitibank, of interest only on [-] home equity [-] of credit with them. I also made a monthly payment against principal. [-] correspondence I received from Cenlar FSB advised [-] that automatic draws would continue as scheduled. This never occurred! When I noticed [-] failure of Cenlar FSB to draw [-] first payment in October 2019, I contacted their customer service rep., who assured [-] I would not be charged for a late payment because [-] voluntary payment for principal more than covered any interest only draw and Cenlar FSB would take [-] interest payment due from that money. Cenlar's rep also assured [-] that [-] next interest only draw payment for November would be made by Cenlar FSB and that I did not have a thing to worry. Huh! When November 27, 2019 ([-] interest only draw date) came around, [-] payment was not drawn from [-] bank account. I called Cenlar FSB AGAIN! After a [-], [-], [-] delay, I was finally connected to a LIVE person who entered some information and assured [-] that no late charges would be assessed and that [-] December draw would actually take place THIS TIME! Well, I am waiting, breath abated, for [-] 27th of this month to see if [-] draft [-] be taken by Cenlar FSB against [-] bank account for [-] interest due. BUT! Past experience tells [-] they [-] "[-] [-] pooch" again and [-] draw [-] not take place. I [-] be assessed late payment charges, [-] credit score [-] suffer and I [-] be forced to take legal [-] against Cenlar FSB. Thankfully I am [-] attorney and have judges and attorneys in [-] family who can pile in to collect breach of contract and punitive damages against Cenlar FSB and Citibank (for assigning [-] [-] administration to a bunch of incompetent idiots. When I think about what is happening, I must surmise that these actions on [-] part of Cenlar FSB are deliberate. Their purpose is to [-] charging [-] late payment fees and [-] [-] [-] balance high in order to collect higher interest payments. I surmise that a [-] [-] lawsuit is in order. That [-] allow legal discovery to identify [-] many other borrowers are undergoing similar experiences to mine. Huh! What [-] you think? Is it incompetence, only? Or is it deliberate?.
They are hands down filled with [-] most worthless human beings on [-] face of [-] earth. I wonder if any of them have higher than [-] 8th grade education. They are disrespectful and if they [-] not know something they just threaten to disconnect [-] call because they have no problem solving nor customer service skills. [-] mortgage company sold [-] [-] to this dirtbag scavenger company and I have to pay [-] price because of corporate greed!
Wish there was a "0" rating. If at all possible avoid this lender. Customer service is terrible. They are always "experiencing high call volume" because they [-] not have sufficient resources. Forget trying to get assistance with resetting your password because [-] [-] you [-] get is "someone [-] contact you within 24 hours". I want [-] information now.
