I've had a credit card with this "bank' for 1o years and have never missed a payment. About late December or January, I ordered software i the anount of abiut $35.00. Somehow the computeqrtwy/webite charged that amount twice. It's been like all hell to get it credited. I called them as soon as I spotted the error. Apparently no human is empowered to credit the amount. I'm annoyed big time. My bill was due a few days ago. I called again prior to the payment date to be sure it was taken care of. Nope....it lingers on. Two days after I made the payment minus the erroneous $35(ish) amount still show...now as a past due. Nope. I'm not paying it. I reached a rep that i think was off shore somewhere and requested to speak to a supervisor. What a 3rd degree I received. She literally did NOT want to transfer saying she could help me. I knew she was not empowered to credit a penny, never mind 35 dollars. Finally, after being given the run around, a supervisor came onto the line, She was so mechanized she sounded like a robot. She refused to do anything. What great Customer DISservice! She refused to give me Merrick Babcnvxk's headquarters address and any names of top executives.
worst company ever I am not even a customer but a victim of identity theft and I kept being transferred to customer service instead of the fraud/investigation department so I am writing a letter to headquarters and also to the Consumers Fraud Protection Bureau.
This company's customer service literally [-], and I mean [-]. I have called [-] times trying to get someone to dispute a charge. Each time I get put on hold. First time for over [-] hour,second time over 45 minutes, third time 30 minutes andnow I just [-] upfrlm haveing been on hold for 37 minutes. This bank is horrible, and I mean horrible. .
Customer Service is impossible to get in touch with. You constantly get disconnected.
[-] hold times just to let them know that there's fraudsters using [-] phone number to call unsuspecting customers tricking them into giving out their info.
Really bad service. Card was used fraudulently and was told would receive [-] card in 7 to 10 days. Never received. Called and rep [-] [-] card was activated. I asked when
I received a on [-] 11, [-] letter was dated 07/01/2022, it stated [-] card ending in 0409 had been cancelled because it had been a year since I had used it. Why didn't someone send [-] a letter in [-] warning [-] [-] card would be cancelled if not used by [-] end of [-] ? I talked to 4 different customer service agents, [-] first 3 agents [-] they would put [-] on hold to talk to a supervisor and after 15 or 20 minutes [-] [-] went dead. [-] 4th agent finally got [-] a supervisor to talk to. I told them I didn't realize it had been a year since I had used [-] card but they [-] it was company policy and there was nothing they could [-] about it and [-] up before I could respond !!!!!!!!!! [-] date on [-] card is 05/24, [-] FICO Score is over 800, l [-]'t understand why [-] account can't be reinstated ????? Show this to [-] CEO so they can see [-] bad your Customer Service is..........
[-] card was declined because of [-] CVV2 number. When called customer service they went stupid. Transferred [-] twice and was on hold for over 2 hours. When someone at security answered [-] woman I could not understand her. She [-] to call back and [-] up on [-]. Would not return [-] call or assist [-] after 2 hours
This bank is no help to its customers. I had [-] unfortunate experience of having 2 unauthorized charges to [-] card, not only did they not read [-] notes left on three different occasions when I called. Because [-] notes should of had Mr. [-] number for them to call. They did nothing except add [-] charge back on that they took off. This is [-] worst customer service.
I have had this card for years and have done nothing but pay service fees without adding any charges to [-] card. I tried requesting to cancel service fees and was informed that they cannot cancel them for any reason. Well I done paying service fees for a card have have yet to use, I want this card cancelled.
I have not been a customer for very [-] and I already have a serious problem. [-] account has been locked and there is no way to unlock it. I have been trying to contact [-] company to find out [-] problem and reset it. There doesn't seem to be any way to [-] this online and [-] typical wait time for phone contact is greater than 30 minutes and no one has answered yet. I'm not sure [-] to solve this.

This is [-] worst bunch of clowns I have ever dealt with. From them getting [-] name wrong to trying to get it corrected. I faxed [-] legal and valid drivers license to them. But then,, they actually wanted [-] to fax a copy of [-] social security card to them. Then when I refused, they wanted a copy if [-] birth certificate to which I also refused. They cannot get [-] name correct so why would I trust them with copies of those? This is [-] worst company that I have seen in a while by [-]. There is absolutely no way to contact [-] upper managers. They hide from [-] customers that they have wronged..[-] NOT [-] [-] WITH THESE PEOPLE.
Stay away from Merrick Bank credit cards. I normally make [-] payments online, and when [-] money has been cleared through [-] bank Merrick bank takes [-] unusual [-] time to post [-] funds to [-] credit card. This practice has caused [-] nothing but headaches and as soon as [-] credit card is paid off i [-] close [-] account and find another credit card company.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONEXISTENT!!!! HAVE A PROBLEM DUE TO HAVING TWO ISP'S AND THEIR IDIOT PROGRAM KEEPS LOCKING [-] OUT!!!!! WORST CREDIT BANK IN EXISTENCE!!!!!

Sent a payment 2 weeks before due for$ 173.53 thy took $1173.53 that wipe out [-] checking acct after many calls had it made right.wrong merrick turns around and send cheak back throughmy back a 2nd time for$1173.52 as a result now many over draft fees.still fighting to resolve.
