I've been a Citizens customer for 8 years. I was in an accident on my job that left me disabled. In the last year my life has been devastated by 2 FEMA floods. MY HOME IS ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSING INTO THE RIVER BELOW ME. I have not had heat or water since JULY OF 2023. IT IS BELOW ZERO AND I AM BURNING CARDBOARD TO KEEP FROM FREEZING TO DEATH. IN JANUARY I BEGAN THE PROCESS OF GETTING A HOME EQUITY LOAN. THE BANK CAME TO MY HOME AND WITNESSED THE HELL I AM BARELY SURVIVING. THEY CALLED ON THE PHONE TO TELL ME I WAS DENIED THE HOME EQUITY LOAN. I NEED A COPY OF THE REJECTION NOTICE SENT TO ME FOR LEGAL REASONS. IT HAS BEEN A MONTH SINCE I GOT THE REJECTION PHONE CALL. THEY SAID I WOULD GET THE REJECTION NOTICE WITHIN A WEEK. THESE GHOULS WON'T EVEN RESPOND TO EMAILS ASKING FOR A COMPUTER-GENERATED REJECTION NOTICE, A SIMPLE FORM LETTER THAT IN THE DAYS OF COMPUTERIZED TECH AND ROBOTS, SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE A MONTH AGO. THESE MONSTERS ARE MAKING A DISABLED WOMAN BARELY SURVIVING THROUGH A DISASTER NIGHTMARE BABYSIT THEIR GROSS INCOMPETENCE. DO NOT GIVE THESE COLD-HEARTED BUFFOONS YOUR MONEY! FING DECENT HUMAN BEINGS WHO CARE ABOUT OTHER HUMAN BEINGS!

I wish I had read [-] reviews before opening [-] account. This is a [-] persons bank. [-] Fees are crazy. [-] of mind is not [-] at all. I [-] calculated and after covering [-] overdraft missed 63 cents and they took 179.00 in fees and more [-] next day. Now I [-] not have [-] full rent money. I think we need to [-] better. We have to have love , compassion, and empathy. People over policy. [-] personal banker was always nice and cheered [-] on when I made [-] accomplishments but never had [-] gumption to stick up to his superiors . What is right is right and wrong is wrong. At times I have to use overdarft and have to incur fees and I pay them because we are to give GOD what is GODs and Caeser what is Caeser's. This time [-] account was covered and they want to hang on to [-] money. I pray for kinder service for all others who have accounts there and who need a little breathing room. [-] you all have better experiences

CC service: I have contacted your customer service for Credit card assistance. [-] average wait is over 90 minutes. Recently a card was lost and I reported it and requested expedited replacement. Today is [-] day [-] card was supposed to arrive. I contacted customer service. It [-] arrive in 7 to 10 [-] days. Simply put, that is not service. Because of competition you closed our local branch and [-] nearest is 27 [-] in one direction. After 30 plus years of [-] with your ever changing [-], it appears time to move to another bank.

What world Or more like what year is this Bank working in? Your going to send [-] a [-] check ? A [-] check in today's banking system ? You were able to electronically take [-] money from [-] account, But you somehow can't electronically put it back? You all know you owe it to [-] why should I have to Waite two weeks for you to send a check? and then 3 to 4 days in [-] snail [-] Like USPS has gotten any faster. Again If your can take it in 30sec.or less why can't you return it in 30sec ?

Website extremely unfriendly, customer service very poor

CAUTION: I am attempting to transfer monies OUT of Citizens and am NOW being told that you can only transfer $15K [-] MONTH to another bank. I cannot believe this is legal and I am in [-] process of moving up [-] corporate ladder to get [-] money OUT

worst banking experience ever, 25$ account service fees and 35 minute wait times to talk to anyone

I am 72 yrs old and [-]'t see well. I received a flyer in [-] [-] about getting a $300 bonus if I deposited $200/[-] for 3 months ($600 total). I went to [-] bank in Wadswoth [-] with [-] advertisement and talked with [-] woman bank manager there. I asked her to review [-] fine [-] for [-]. She [-] "yes you'll get $300 if you deposit 200/[-] for [-] next three months. SHE DID TELL [-] I NEEDED TO HAVE A CHECKING ACCOUNT. I talked with [-] [-] counterpart because she was not working. [-] told [-] they would not pay [-] bonus. I offered to [-] a checking to get [-] bonus and [-] [-] that wouldn't work either. I think [-] woman manager should have stood up and admitted she was part of [-] situation and given [-] some sort of relief.

[-] transition for HSBC customers to Citizens has been a night mare. They are making their customers [-] all [-] switching of direct deposits, automatic payments, etc. They are USELESS and [-] most unhelpful group I have ever dealt with. If I could give them minus [-] I would.

Customer service is horrible (Miami Beach, [-] Road) with wait times up to 2 hours for basic processes such as opening [-] account. Constant turn in customer service staff. [-] not recommend.

Terrible service w/ our checking acct. that was hit w/ 17 fraudulent charges! 1 week ago,

I have been locked out of our [-] account yesterday. I have called three different "Customer Service" numbers. I have been on hold for 90 minutes, 40 minutes ( and when rep picked up "couldn't hear [-]", though I could clearly hear them), and this current time for over 50 minutes. I also walked in to [-] local branch, but no one could help without [-] appointment... Next call is to Corporate. This is a very poor [-] model!

ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER I wouldn't even give it any [-]. HORRIBLE

Local branch is fine; website keeps telling [-] I [-]'t exist. It [-] [-] that only one more time. Capice? I [-] be travelling and need [-]. If I [-]'t have it, come [-], I [-] review and let you know what's next. One thing you [-] know: I [-] exist and I [-] know [-] user name and password. Best your system know it.

Unable to help [-]. No answer on [-] phone. Frustrating.

I opened checking account with Citizen's bank through [-] special promotion [-] that would pay [-] $300 if I set up direct deposit. I have completed [-] side of [-] contract but [-] bank continuously failed to [-] up with [-] advertised promotion and did not deposit $300 in [-] account. I have contacted bank many times and was promised that I would see [-] credit deposited on certain dates but it did not happen, I am very unhappy with this situation as this is a false advertisement situation. I would not [-] [-] account if I knew that [-] bank would continuously lie to [-], use [-] money, and would not [-] up to their promises. In addition, customer service of this bank is terrible. No online support, chats take hours and get customers disconnected. Phone support takes hours. Transfers take much longer than they take with any other known banks. I need $300 deposited as promised and to be compensated $300 for [-] time and [-] fact is that you bank uses [-] money and locking funds for days.

Never take out a [-] [-] from this bank. I did, paid it off and now [-] [-]’s credit is ruined. No one at [-] bank can tell [-] why it was not reported correctly. Better yet, no one seems to care!

If I could give you NO stats I would. You [-]'t deserve [-] one I had to give!

800 922 9999 connects to Costa [-] where [-] person who speaks to you has a very poor grasp of english. I received another email that was clearly not from Citizens asking [-] to enter [-] personal [-] I needed to send this email to [-] fraud department was told there was no email address but gave [-] a phone number that was not operational and [-] up on [-] . This is a disgrace.

I am a [-] whom is from [-] United States of [-]. I have voting rights to elect politicians into office. I am a working [-] citizen. I am in suspicious of people spreading rumors that [-] poetry and artwork was circulated all around [-] universe for sells of benefit. Inaddition people that work came into their jobs bragging and bosting about some [-] which is [-] out there is selling is worth alot of money. As a result world Corporations benefited off [-] ideas in [-] quadrillions and they did it incognito so i would not bust them. I opened [-] account about 8 yrs ago , it was a nice contact between 3 siblings . 6 yrs ago they closed [-] branch in [-] town . Now to make a deposit I must travel 50 [-] . If a couple of your ATM's in [-] area could be updated so they would accept deposits , it would alleviate [-] predicament . {and increase your rating)

Bad bank. Their website says all mobile banking deposits drawn from Citizens accounts [-] be available [-] same [-] day. Upon depositing [-] check, it is being held for 3 [-] days. I have been on [-] phone with Citizen for 3 hours and NO ONE can give [-] a good answer. No provisional credit, nothing. Just waiting for [-] bank to clear [-] pay check when they get good and ready to.

Best Bank EVER. I have been with Citizens Bank for over 8 years, and I simply cannot say enough about this Bank; Their Customer Service is simply outstanding, along with their professionalism and understanding. I have been through a number of financial changes over these past 8 years, and I am so grateful to have a Banking partner who has worked with [-] through these changes. Highly recommend!

Based on Fraudulent withdrawal

Joined Citizens Bank with a promo offer of $300.00 for a checking account with a direct deposit within 60 days. Also opened a savings account. So [-] I have been given 4 different dates for [-] payout. [-] dates come and [-] with no payout. Now [-] payout is [-] 31. I somehow [-]'t believe it. Three times I spent [-] own money expecting this money. I have had to [-] and borrow until [-] paycheck because of this. Doesn't anybody know anything for sure at this bank. I want [-] $300.00. I feel like a character from "[-] [-]". [-]'t get it, [-] you?

I have been banking with Citizens Bank a few months now. When I set up [-] account I was asked if I wanted [-] "opting in or out" option (bank over draft protection plan) I told them no I was not interested in that if I [-]'t have [-] funds I [-]'t want [-] charge covered. Today Citizens bank allowed a charge to process that I didn't have [-] funds AVAILABLE to cover!!!!! Now there telling [-] its [-] fault there are certain transactions that can [-] through... I was never advised of this and when I spoke with [-] BANK MANAGER she told [-] [-] her tellers have been there for years and they cover everything and she was a bit rude about it. I have no reason to lie nor would I lie on someone [-] information wasn't given and then she replied she wasn't there she cannot confirm. Ok you cant confirm what was or wasn't [-] cause you wasn't there but you can say you bankers been there 10 yrs. they advise of everything. They refused to help now in stuck with a negative balance along with over draft fees I cant cover. This is terrible i am highly disappointed I guess cause I live in [-] inner city I'm just another low life to them. This is [-] you treat your valued customer
