Bill pay systems
You changed a user-friendly bill pay system to a cumbersome more time consuming project. It wasn't broke why try to fix it. Please return it to the previous system that allowed a view of each recipient, the date and amount of previous payments, ability to schedule the next payment for every one on the list at one time. Not anymore. Please put it back to a user-friendly system that you eliminated. The local truist bank gets a 5 star. corporate 1
I have had a credit card with Truist for years. A week ago my card got hacked. They cancelled it and mailed me a new one. Before i even got the new one there were new charges on it. I called and they cancelled the new one. By later in the day there were more charges on it and i did not even activate the new card because i just got it and that card was suppose to be cancelled also and another new one mailed. This sounds impossible but this it what i am going thru now. They are mailing me another new card.
Yesterday, 3/17/25, about 4:45pm, I was served by Jacob Creeck out of North Carolina. It was one of the most professional and service oriented / honoring experiences of my life with a customer service agent.
He went the extra mile and then some to help me.
I sincerely appreciate him and his service.

On Jan. 2 I deposited an $89 check from my former employer, the phone company Verizon. As of Jan. 22, 2025, it has NOT been made available to me to withdraw and spend. About a week ago, I talked to a Customer Service Rep who said it's on hold waiting for verification. But I'm called Verizon on 1/22/25 and was told TRUIST cashed the check in 1/3. As far as I'm concerned, TRUIST has stolen that $89 and will be reported to the WV Attorney General and any other appropriate agency.
I am a customer with 3 accounts (1 business) 2 personal and a Money Market account. I cannot believe how you have changed BillPay. you cannot print a receipt, the note section is gone. It is absolutely ridiculous. If you do not restore it the way it was I will be cancelling all my accounts,and encouraging others I know to do the same. I was with SunTrust for many years and they never screwed up the accounts the way you have. I spoke to someone by phone and they were supposed to have someone call me but that never happened. (they said they had a lot of complaints about the change), I also contacted my local branch and left a message and no one returned my call.

Lousy customer service. Tells lies and will not give necessary information to me about my account.
Bank refused to follow instructions pursuant to Power of Attorney to add a payable on death to my father's account. As a result, after he died I had to incur $3,000 in attorney's fees to probate his estate which would have been unnecessary if they had complied with Florida law. Attempts to resolve have been unsuccessful as the Bank claims that they had unilateral right to refuse instructions pursuant to a valid POA and that I am obligated to indemnify them for their negligence. Have tried to speak to higher ups but cannot find any telephone numbers.
Truist needs to have a more reliable credit union to verify their clients. Equifax is Unreliable. Try Trans-Union of Experian. From one who knows.
Ruined [-] credit by reporting a late payment to [-] credit reporting agency’s. I’ve had [-] visa credit card with them for years and always paid promptly. Paid $1580.00 on 12/2/2023. Tried to pay again [-] first week of [-] and had trouble with [-] automated system, called to pay in February and they had turned it over to collections over $97.00 [-] payment. Paid [-] full balance of $1883 and change but [-] credit score is down over a hundred points because of [-] honest mistake. Very poor [-] practice to say [-] least. [-] wife spoke to customer service over [-] phone and [-] representative was rude and dismissive. [-] [-] would be to high of a score
