Went here to open a checking account. Don't really like Regions from pervious experience but they treated me very well when my wife died. So I enter the bank in Waverly. 3 tellers, 5 customers. I wait. Customer leaves, next customer. She leaves, my turn. Teller (female unusual name started with M) picks up her phone and starts to interact with it. I count. When I get to about 100 the lady at the next teller gives me a look, looks at my teller, and gives me a questioning look. I'm frustrated. I say, in a voice loud enough for all to hear. "Well, I came here to open a checking account but they don't seem to need my business." Everyone looks at me EXCEPT the teller I'm standing in front of. She doesn't even look up, still interacting with her phone. I leave. No one says a word. So If you wonder why your bank isn't performing to expectations, now you know.
