Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I paid the full statement balance of {$19000.00} on my Flagstar VISA credit card. I believed that my balance was then at {$0.00}. However, on my next statement there was an interest charge of {$41.00} for the period of time between the date the statement was issued and the payment date. I was out of town on business when the statement arrived, and was unaware that there was additional interest to pay. Flagstar charged me {$30.00} late fee. When I got home, I saw the mailed statement. I called Flagstar, got the late fee waived, and paid the {$41.00} interest. I believed the balance was paid in full. As it turns out, Flagstar charged another {$1.00} interest on the period of time the previous month 's interest had been unpaid. However, I was out of town again at the time the statement arrived. When I got home I saw the new statement with additional interest and another {$31.00} in late fees. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I called Flagstar and requested the new late fee be waived. Flagstar refused, because they had waived a late fee the month before. I explained that I had paid the balance on the account, but there was a charge of {$1.00} additional interest on the previous interest charge. I felt that it was unfair to charge {$31.00} late fee for unpaid interest of {$1.00} after I had paid the account balance. I expressed this to customer service rep XXXX, and to manage XXXX. The Call Confirmation number for my conversation with XXXX is XXXX. Due to Flagstar 's complete unwillingness to reverse the late charge, I cancelled my account. I did pay the current balance of {$33.00}, which XXXX assured me was the complete amount due and that there would be no additional charges. I feel that Flagstar 's late fee charge of {$31.00} in this instance is unfair and excessive and should be returned to me.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I established a checking account with U.S. Bank after receiving an invitation from their ads, accompanied by a {$400.00} new account promotion bonus code. Following the provided instructions, I initiated the initial deposit of {$100.00} and arranged for a direct deposit to meet the requirement of a total direct deposit of {$4000.00} within XXXX days from the account opening date. The direct deposit originated from my workplace, where I was employed at XXXX XXXX XXXX at that time. XX/XX/XXXX {$7800.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$2200.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$2200.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$2200.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$2400.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$2400.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$2400.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$5400.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$2400.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$2400.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$4000.00} Despite having a total direct deposit of {$36000.00} into my account, I did not receive the promised promotion bonus. I contacted the bank several times since XXXX, requesting an investigation into the matter. During each call, I had to clarify that my workplace was XXXX XXXX XXXX, causing my direct deposits to appear as XXXX rather than direct deposits in their system. The representative assured me that a case was created, but when I inquired about a case number, I was informed that only follow-up calls could track the status with no specific tracking number provided. The U.S. Bank neglected to address their issue, necessitating multiple follow-ups on my part. They failed to initiate an investigation to rectify the situation. Ive retained the account solely due to the promotional bonus because of the pending status, which also incurs a monthly maintenance fee. Despite my requests, the bank refused to correct the fee discrepancy. It appears the bank has engaged in misleading advertising, and I strongly suspect others may encounter similar issues.

Just got a call from Shirre. It was a follow up to a low rating I gave [-] [-] you guys sent [-] in regards to a fraud claim I had a hard time making. SHE WAS AMAZING. 10/10 I wish every call to any customer service was Shirre on [-] other end. Give that woman a raise, and then give her another one. She was helpful, professional, human, and really funny. LOVE HERRRR!

I can not reach [-] associate by phone at either [-] bank branch or [-] corporate office and was told [-] fraud department couldn't help [-] and I had no [-] accounts however I [-] and I feel that's bank in Washington State is defrauding [-] of [-] Bancorp account Child savings accou t and refuses to give information about [-] trust advisor and has opened accounts with shared [-] with out [-] knowledge and denied [-] [-]. This bank [-]. You should not trust them with your money or to handle your estate they also are taking advantage of [-] elderly mother whom is a widow.

Worst bank to deal with!!! I ordered a part, never received [-] package so I filed a dispute, us. bank [-] they cannot give [-] [-] money back ($300) and did not give [-] a reason why. Dispute manager she kept stating Just because I cannot without any reason and catching [-] attitude and being completely rude. Never got [-] money back (FRAUD). One day [-] zelle stopped working, they never gave [-] a reason. After being a part of US Bank for 18 years they closed [-] bank account without notifying [-] and when I called did not give [-] a reason. [-] WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORST BANK EVER. THIS IS DEFF NOT A TRUSTED BANK AND THEY STEAL YOU'RE MONEY. [-] TO [-]!!!

Could care less about customers, left hand never knows what [-] right hand is doing, customer service is useless, they literally sent [-] a letter of condolence about [-] death after several phone calls of [-] saying, "Im alive". They report then dont report to [-] credit agencies. There a disorganized mess and I'm flabbergasted they stay in [-]. This is a corporate overall review.

Unable to contact [-] north Portland office to recover artwork that was displayed during their community services. There were almost a dozen pictures left there after [-] location permanently closed. If there is a way to recover [-] artworks, it would be greatly appreciated. [-] values are in excess if 10,000$$. RSVP is a huge [-]. This bank is either incompetent or corrupt. I was hacked on a USReliacard account. [-] UC has proved its [-] account. I have continually attempted to talk to a fraud department, if there really is one. [-] underlings in their call center continully refuse, even when asked to give [-] full SSN, which is unheard of. So, I cannot sign up, I lost almost 600.00 dollars. Unconscionable.

Worst bank ever to deal with on trying to close [-] fathers estate and sell his house, pay off [-] mortgage and home equity [-]. I've given them 4 copies each of [-] death certificate and probate letter. [-] last conversation about [-] probate letter which they [-] they still didn't have, even though it was in [-] same mailed package with [-] deed and death certificate concluded with a threat that they would not provide payoff information to anyone without [-] probate letter and this could jeopardize [-] planned closing. Finally after faxing them a 4th copy of [-] probate letter they acknowledged that they had it but it would take 5 [-] days to review and actually marked as complete which would put that date within 3 days of [-] planned house closing. Very interesting that a bank would refuse money to pay off two loans just to follow their own bureaucracy and also that their departments are so disjointed that they [-]'t share documents or information across branches or departments. I'd give them a [-] [-] if it was allowed.

This company is terrible when it comes in terms of resolving issues that they are at fault for. I paid off a [-] with [-] company over a month ago and cannot get ALL of [-] titles because of [-] issue on their end. You cannot get anyone on [-] phone that can assist...all they can [-] is try and escalate [-] issue to another department and that department is 15 days behind and they [-] not [-] voice contacts. [-] wife and I have had [-] account with U.S. Bank for 17 years. We paid off our home with a HELOC and continue to online banking. However, [-] wife is 77 and suffers from short term memory loss. We were traveling from Idaho Falls to our home in Westcliffe, [-] last Thanksgiving when we stopped to fuel up and our credit card was declined. [-] wife forgot to make a payment. I had a little [-] and that took us to [-] Springs, WY. We visited [-] branch bank there and [-] Branch Manager [-] Whitman helped us tremendously. After looking up our account she helped us transfer funds to our credit card account and applied debit cards to our checking account. She then demonstrated [-] easy it was to use them at [-] ATM etc. We were extremely [-] with her personal service and we continued our trip without a worry. Thank you [-] Whitman.

This bank is horrible. It has awful customer service with employees and supervisors who are all taught different things. They [-]’t notify you when or why they freeze your account. I had to call in to find out [-] account was locked even though I had just used [-] card to transfer funds to a different account I have. I’ve been getting [-] run around for weeks with [-] verification process which I’ve already done numerous times. [-] system won’t accept their verification process. They claim that they can’t physically [-] anything about [-] situation or expedite [-] days it takes to verify. I absolutely hate this bank and would NEVER recommend this bank to anyone. I’ll even [-] out [-] way to stand on that point if you [-]’t release [-] funds. I have bills that are pass due. Due to this unprofessional bank. Once I receive [-] funds I [-] be closing this account. [-] 3048 who claims to be one of your companies supervisors was very [-] and rude. Her and your other supervisor [-] told [-] two different things on going abt verifying [-] account. What are you teaching your representatives because clearly it’s not [-] same and your company needs to train everyone [-] same. And not to mention what’s [-] point in having supervisors if they can’t [-] [-] either. They can [-] just as much as [-] regular customer service members. They can’t see [-] notes that are being entered. This bank is really [-] HORRIBLE.

After giving preliminary approval for a [-] for [-] customer, US Bank, five days before closing, requested that [-] client find a home inspector to certify that [-] roof of [-] house being purchased would be good for [-] life of [-] [-]. [-] client was applying for a 30 year [-]. [-] client is a single mother with income of $132,000, $1 million in [-] bank and a credit rating of 830. I have been in [-] [-] 30 years and I have never seen such a request. It was entirely unprofessional and impossible to fulfill. I [-] never have any of [-] clients use US Bank again.

Just wanted to inform people that this Bank [-] close your accounts for depositing a check that you received in [-] [-] that you deposit like any normal human [-] American citizen would and then later finding out that [-] check was fraudulent. [-] am I to know that [-] check is fraudulent? Good question! I was told that on 24 February that [-] accounts are being closed and within 15 days I would receive a cashiers check for [-] remainder in [-] account. Here we are nowOn [-] 17 and I have yet to receive [-] checks and [-] accounts have yet to be closed and I cannot [-] any of [-] money in [-] accounts. This is a problem. If you [-]’t wanna be locked out of your accounts for depositing a check that you had no idea was not legit then I would not suggest banking with this bank and [-] manager at [-] branch that I was dealing with was entirely rude to [-] for expressing [-] concern that [-] check was still not in [-] [-] when I had received that letter stating that it would be in [-] [-] and in [-] inbox within 15 days. Then to top [-] cake well I [-]’t been able to use either of [-] accounts all month they charged [-] for both of [-] accounts monthly fees of [-] dollars each and they charged [-] a $19 returned check fee although I didn’t write [-] check I simply deposited it they charge [-] $20 almost just because I deposited [-] check and I didn’t even know anything about [-] check. Crock of [-]!

Bad. I have been banking with US bank for 20 years and I am receiving a complete run around.
[-] check from USBank to Wells fargo has been deposited to wrong account. After many hours of calling USBank, no help. I spoke to [-] acting bank manager at Wells fargo and [-] recommended filing a fraud claim. US bank was assuring [-] that I would get [-] money back and now today, no longer doing so. [-] check was [-] [-] check using [-] Pay cashed in [-]. Now it's December and states it depend on Wells Fargo responding. I'm uncertain of next steps. Small claims [-]: [-] check was cashed that was not properly endorsed. News [-]? Attorney? Should I report to FDIC. [-] fund were misappropriated.

For weeks when I attempt to send money using Zeille i receive [-] error [-] that a error occured at USbank and try later. Later is now 3 weeks. I Callled USbank support and their idea was for to delete all [-] history,cache, and cookies. They are not [-] only website i visit on [-] computer and playing around with [-] system does not fix USbanks problem. They are lazy and want to blame [-] computer even though I have not issue with any other website. Their is nothing wrong with [-] account, i send via cell phone app easily. US bank needs to get off their duff and fix THEIR problem

Horrible customer service. [-] father passed away and I'm dealing with probate and tax stuff and have a return check coming. They have sent [-] [-] check 3 times in [-] dads name, [-] is passed away, and they know this, and I have spent lots of money and time doing all they asked, faxed all documents, taken off work 2 days, and they finally after 1 year and 4 months got it right. I asked them, can you overnight [-] [-] check please because they made so many mistakes and I have done all asked of [-], they told [-] that's not their policy, I have to wait for it in [-] [-]. That's not [-] way a bank should treat customers, especially customers dealing with things [-] way I have. I [-] not ever bank with them again, and highly recommend others think about it when trying to decide on going with them for any form of banking services. I [-] pray for all involved and US Bank as a whole. God Bless ALL

Opened [-] [-] account Saturday, and since have been locked out of [-] account and denied [-] for [-] necessary transactions needed to make. Called 800 number Saturday was told to wait 24. Waited 24 hours and account was disabled. Called 800 and told I had to wait another 24 hours. Was also told if I wanted to switch banks I was free to [-] so, but in [-] mean time I am denied [-] to [-] own [-] account and denied transactions I need to make for [-] [-]. You interfered with [-] [-]! Very unhappy and [-] be looking [-] where as told to [-] so since [-] [-] is not important to you.

We are a licensed Truck Dealership in Arizona. For [-] second time in 3 months, we were told our buyer was fully approved, and executed and ready for funding. We released [-] truck expecting funding wired that day, as [-] our agreement. No funding. [-] 1st time it took 2 days. This time I was very clear to make sure all was ready. I was assured it was. I released [-] truck on Friday. Now [-] afternoon, and still NO FUNDING. Tomorrow I [-] track down [-] proper authority and file a formal complaint.In [-] mean time, I have NO TRUCK AND NO FUNDS! Other dealers BEWARE!

I arrived at U.S. Bank 11960 W. Western ave. Chicago, [-] on 4/3/19 around 2:00 p.m.signed in to see a private banker to make a deposit into [-] Roth [-]. I took a seat and waited to be seen. There was about 6 customers who were also waiting. [-] Gutierrez was [-] only banker who had a client and immediately got on [-] phone after his client left instead of checking [-] log to see who was waiting to be served. Mr. Gutierrez picked up his phone and made a [-] call while we were waiting and waiting to be served. I purposely went into his [-] while [-] was on [-] phone, took a seat and waited for him to get off [-] phone to help [-]. I finally just took a seat in his [-] so I could be taken care of. I spoke to Mrs. [-], manager and explained to her, several of us customers had been waiting and waiting to be served. She told [-] abruptly, "I can't [-] anything about it, call [-] Corporate Office", she kept repeating it and walked away rudely. Several of [-] customers left after waiting. Mr. Gutierrez finished [-] transaction and I walked out at 2:50 p.m.It took almost [-] hour to make a simlpe transaction, I did not appreciate [-] rudeness and waiting especially since I was [-] first one there and nobody came to check [-] sign in log like other banks [-]. There was no courtesy extended. I refuse to be treated like a pauper and having banked with U.S. Bank for many years. This was deplorable and i [-] not continue to be with U. S. Bank and [-] [-] with them. I [-]'t have to.

Beware of US Bank! They did even know [-] to [-] [-] mother's safe deposit box after she died and they ran [-] around for a whole month. Once I found [-] attorney to help [-] and give [-] [-] statutes, [-] branch manager didn't even contact his legal department, that [-] had been blaming [-] whole time saying we couldn't get in, [-] just opened [-] box. When I told him I had [-] statutes for him, [-] [-] [-] didn't need [-] statutes, that [-] knew what they [-], but then when they were making copies of [-] [-], I had to tell them not to take [-] staple out as they would invalidate it... they didn't even know that. Now, after we had to close [-] account rapidly as [-] conservator still had [-] to [-] money, they charged us $420 for copies... [-] ones we got from [-] were free! [-] manager was very argumentative and acted like [-] was doing us a favor... not quite! In addition, we had to get some [-] notarized after mom's death and they would not [-] it. We had to find a bank that would work for us and then [-] back to US Bank with [-] notarized paperwork. There is not a helping attitude when you have a situation... they were absolutely rude, especially [-] branch manager, and could not [-] out of their way to help at all.

For almost a week I've been trying to reach a supervisor to speak about [-] fraud US Bank has committed on [-] account. I either get [-] up on, put on hold, and mostly told there's not one available. I've tried to work this out with [-] directly, but since after again today being told I'll be called back by supervisor, I filed a complaint with [-] Federal Reserve. US Bank is committing fraud and we have screenshots and other things to prove it.
