Complaint: The bank rearranges my account balances reflecting in less money than what I calculated at the time am I spending. When fees are dropped from my account for example like returns, they are not reflected in my account but supposedly my money was refunded. That lack of reflection in my account and the rearranging of transactions lead me to believe that I had overspent and bank has charged me an overdraft fee. Then things later I still have an overdraft fee but my account has finished pending and I have money in my account but Im not able to dispute that overdraft fee. The bank is stealing money from people who live paycheck to paycheck like the majority of Americans. Leading the majority to believe that they have to pay these overdraft fees because of the banks systems through the online banking account access.

Complaint: After an Incoming Wire Transfer, Fifth Third Bank puts a 10-Day hold on the Funds in some parts of their System. All Wire Funds are supposed to be available within 24-Hours per " Regulation E '' and this is not the case across the Fifth Third Banking System. The consumer has to call the Bank and initiate a Manual Intervention. In some cases, this may allow the Bank to charge unnecessary Interest Charges to the Customer.
Also, if a Curtailment Payment to a Loan is made on a Saturday in their Internet Banking System, Fifth Third waits until the next Business Day to record the transaction. This costs the Consumer 2 more days of Interest Charge. With 24-Hour Internet Banking, Fifth Third should be looking at Transaction Dates. Instead, Fifth Third forces its System to use the next Business Day. Credit Card Companies use Transaction Dates and so should Fifth Third. Not using the actual Transaction Date allows the bank to steal monies from Consumers.
The Fifth Third System and Procedures are outdated. I also get the sense parts of the Fif Third System is just lazy and they don't think through policies and are slow to update them.
